Goal of our Workshops

The goal of this workshop is
for students to leave
understanding the dance and
history of this art called
B-boying.

B-Boy Awareness

Breakin’Habits workshop is
designed to teach students the
art of breaking and increase
their knowledge base of Hip
Hop fundamentals associated
with the dance.
Students will learn top
rocks, go-downs, footwork,
power moves, freezes, beat
manipulation, and musicality
in depth.
Additionally, they will be
taken back to 1970 where it
began to learn about the
development of Hip Hop and
evolution of B-boying.

The Workshops we offer

Breakin’ Habits is a B-boy/Bgirl
workshop that teaches the
fundamentals of breaking with
an emphasis on understanding,
interpreting, and applying
musicality.

Who we are

With over 16 years of dance experience
Eddie and Saso collectively have gained an
invaluable knowledge and understanding of
bboying to offer their students. Eddie who has
been teaching breaking for over 9 years,
spent time training the bboys of
Culture Shock San Diego, a
organization recognized world wide
within the dance community, and
has traveled to various countries
sharing his insight. Saso, also a
seasoned teacher, provides an
interesting balance to the duo as he is
known to incorporate
the history of hip hop culture in his lessons.
Both nationwide and internationally, the two
have earned their credibility amongst peers by
winning battles at respected events such as Mighty
Four. Eddie and Saso are members of :
Jabbawockeez Crew, MTV’s America’s Best Dance
Crew first season winners; Rock So Fresh, a wellknown
B-boy crew from San Diego; and The
Universal Zulu Nation, an organization of
individuals in search of success, peace,
knowledge, wisdom, and
understanding through Hip Hop
culture.
Combined, the two yield an
impressive resume of projects and
artists they’ve collaborated with.
Daddy Yankee, New Kids on the Block,
Missy Elliot, NeYo, Shaquille O’Neal (All
Star Game), Swiss Beats, KRS One, Talib Kweli,
Afrika Bambaata, Yahoo, Macy’s, The Make-a-
Wish Foundation, D.A.R.E Program Sea World,
Gatorade, and Red Bull make up part of the roster.
